The former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko was rescued after He tried to commit suicide claiming that Uhuru has spoiled his life and he does not see any reason to live anymore.
Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has blamed President Uhuru Kenyatta for abandoning him and his other allies. Sonko said that the President ultimately kicked him out of the Nairobi gubernatorial seat.
Speaking during Feisal Bader’s homecoming in Msambweni, Kwale County, Sonko aired his sentiments. He blamed the President for abandoning political allies who had played a significant role in his campaigns.
“He has turned on everyone including Aden Duale, Kipchumba Murkomen, Susan Kihika, and he also betrayed me, a close friend and brother,” the former Governor said.
Members of the Jubilee Tangatanga faction convened in Kwale County to celebrate Feisal Bader’s win.
Feisal Bader defeated Orange Democratic Movement (ODM’s) candidate Omar Boga in the recent Msambweni by-elections.
Recently, he spoke during the burial of Machakos senator Boniface Kabaka. Sonko claimed that he knew the cause of death was not unprescribed medications.
“Before Kabaka died, he was vocal about a piece of land that some individuals wanted to grab …We know what you did, and I want to tell other leaders that if they continue to keep silent about such matters, they will be next,” he alleged.
